JCDC discusses communicable disease survey results with int’l delegation

AMMAN — The Jordanian National Centre for Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases Control (JCDC) and a delegation from the University of California, the international centre for informatics in East Africa, and the US Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF), discussed the results of the Survey and Evaluation of Communicable Diseases Monitoring Systems in Jordan” project.

Head of JCDC Raeda Qutob said that the project, which is implemented by the centre with the participation of about 40 institutions, aims to build a unified, integrated, and efficient national platform for monitoring epidemics of communicable diseases, in coordination with national institutions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Qutob also referred to the importance of the required coordination in various fields and cooperation with partners to maximise the benefit and to ensure the continuity of these efforts in the field.
