AMMAN — The Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) and Jordan River Foundation (JRF) on Wednesday signed an agreement to renew their partnership to implement activities to develop and support savings and credit groups, associations and to provide mutual technical support.
The agreement came as part of the Rural Economic Growth and Employment Project funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development and the Dutch government and implemented by JEDCO, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The agreement targets youth, women and farmers across the Kingdom, as part of a series of JEDCO-implemented projects. The projects focus on training residents of rural areas and providing productive, income-generating job opportunities to reduce poverty and unemployment, and direct small projects nationwide.
