AMMAN — The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) on Thursday signed an agreement with the Bahraini Royal Charity Organisation to build a school in Irbid for Jordanian and Syrian students.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said the project will be ready in five months, noting that the school will have 19 classrooms as well as computer and science laboratories.
The 10-dunum plot of land for the project is owned by the Ministry of Education.
Mustafa Sayed, secretary general of the Bahraini organisation, said the new school will provide a fertile educational environment from which Jordanian and Syrian students alike can benefit.
