AMMAN — The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) on Wednesday launched a workshop dubbed “Press coverage in conflict zones and journalists’ professional and personal security”.
The three-day workshop tackles subjects such as how to tell a news story in conflict zones and how to find and discover the truth in times of war, in addition to assessing news sources in these circumstances, according to a JMI statement.
The event is organised in cooperation with the Swedish Postcode Lottery and Reporters without Borders, with the participation of 25 higher education students from the JMI and seven trainers.
HRH Princess Rym Al Ali, founder of JMI, and Niclas Kjellström-Matseke, CEO of the Swedish Postcode Lottery, attended the launch, the statement said.
