JONAF presents Al Nahda Localisation Award to UN Coordinator in Jordan

AMMAN — The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development (ARDD) and Jordan NGOs Forum (JONAF) bestowed their first Al Nahda Localisation Award upon UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Jordan Anders Pedersen.
Pedersen received this award for outstanding contribution to strengthening localisation of humanitarian work in Jordan, according to a statement from the award organisers.
The award was launched to recognise the great efforts made by distinguished individuals and/or organisations to promote and advocate for the localisation of humanitarian work, and their role in the advancement and strengthening of civil society organisations and local actors, the statement said.
