Jordan’s security tied to Gulf countries — House speaker

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh stressed on Monday that the safety and stability of Gulf countries are tied to Jordan’s security.
Tarawneh made the remark during a meeting with Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Zayed Bin Saeed Rashid Al Khayarin.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, and reviewed the latest regional developments, especially in Iraq and Yemen.
The ambassador said Jordanian-Qatari ties are “deeply rooted”, commending Jordan’s efforts in fighting terrorism and extremism, and supporting Gulf countries.
