'Jordan... civilisation story' exhibition kicks off in Doha

AMMAN — The Doha-held "Jordan... civilisation story" exhibition kicked off on Thursday.
Held on the occasion of the 76th Independence Day, the event was organised by Katara, the cultural village in Doha, Qatar, in cooperation with the Jordanian embassy in Qatar and Jordan's Department of Antiquities (DoA) and the Jordan Tourism Board.
The exhibition will run through June 7, the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Director-General of the DoA Fadi Balawi said that the exhibition showcases rare photos that tell the story of Jordan through the ages.
The exhibition documents the history of the civilisations that came to Jordan.
Jordan’s Ambassador to Qatar Zeid Louzi and several other diplomats in Qatar attended the event.
