Jordan commences Royal wedding celebrations

AMMAN — The official celebrations in the Kingdom marking the wedding of HRH Crown Prince Hussein and Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif are set to commence on Wednesday, spanning two days.
His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday will host a grand dinner banquet at the Royal Hashemite Court's Madareb Bani Hashem. Over 4,000 guests from Jordan are to attend the event marking this special occasion.
The banquet will feature performances that highlight Jordan's diverse and rich heritage, including poetry recitations and traditional musical performances, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
On Thursday, Crown Prince Hussein and Miss Rajwa will tie the knot at Zahran Palace. Following the ceremony, the couple will embark on a procession to Al Husseiniya Palace, accompanied by the Royal Red Motorcade.
The streets of the capital will be adorned with flags and decorations..
At Al Husseiniya Palace, Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania will host a reception, followed by an official dinner banquet.
The guests have already begun arriving in Amman to partake in the Kingdom’s celebrations. The event will feature the presence of heads of state, crown princes and dignitaries from various nations.
The wedding ceremony has captured the attention of local, regional and international media, with television stations to broadcast the celebrations live, bringing in viewers from around the world.
Numerous events and activities are planned to take place across the Kingdom to celebrate the occasion.
