Jordan completes standards harmonisation works in Agadir member states

AMMAN — Jordan has completed a series of meetings held by sectoral committees and working groups set up within the Agadir Harmonisation Structure as well as by the harmonisation coordination commission to examine low voltage electrical cables and textile, Agadir Agreement’s Technical Unit (ATU) Executive Director Fakhri Al Hazaymeh said.
The meetings were held in the framework of the technical cooperation programme between the ATU and the Swedish government to support the quality infrastructure in the Agadir Agreement’s member states, including Jordan, according to an ATU statement.
