AMMAN — Jordan on Sunday dispatched 15 tonnes of emergency humanitarian aid, including food supplies, baby formula and medicines to Lebanon.

The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) sent the assistance loaded on a relief aircraft to support the blast-hit capital city of Beirut, in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF).

In implementation of Royal directives to support the Lebanese people, the fourth relief craft was sent to Lebanon, JHCO official Marwan Hinnawi said.

The fourth dispatch is part of the Amman-Beirut humanitarian air bridge launched by the organisation, as three planes were sent loaded with generators, solar lamps, medical supplies and food, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
