Jordan economic delegation concludes Greece visit

AMMAN — In a visit organised by the Jordan-European Business Association (JEBA) in cooperation with the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development and the Athens Chamber of Industry and Commerce, a Jordanian economic delegation concluded a series of meetings in Greece on Saturday.
The delegation, headed by JEBA President Ali Murad, held talks with Greek business owners to enhance trade, investment and tourism, and to provide opportunities for Jordanian products to enter Greek markets.
In a meeting attended by Jordanian ambassador to Greece Ahed Sweidat, members of the delegation stressed the importance of developing cooperation to advance bilateral economic relations.
During the visit, the delegation also participated in the 11th Arab-Hellenic Economic Forum in Athens, where bilateral meetings were held between Jordanian businessmen and their counterparts participating in the forum.
JEBA, the Athens Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Greek Companies Federation signed cooperation agreements to enhance collaboration and facilitate association members’ participation in activities, events, exhibitions, conferences and delegation exchanges.
The Kingdom's exports to Greece during the past seven months of 2022 amounted to JD11 million, compared with JD25 million in imports.
