Jordan expresses condolences to India over Wayanad landslides

AMMAN — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to the government and people of India for the victims of the landslides that occurred in Wayanad, South India on Tuesday, resulting in several casualties, injuries, and missing persons, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The ministry Spokesperson Sufian Qudah affirmed the Kingdom's solidarity with the Republic of India in this tragic event, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured and safety for the missing.
