Jordan, Palestine discuss means to boost tourism

AMMAN — Palestinian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Rula Maayah on Thursday met Jordan Ambassador to Palestine Issam Al Budoor over advancing cooperation in tourism.
Maayah emphasised the need for enhanced coordination to increase the number of tourists travelling to Palestine through Al Kharameh border crossing by developing joint tourism programmes.
Rula also noted the necessity of preparing agreements in tourism and heritage conservation. The Jordanian envoy expressed the Kingdom's readiness to boost cooperation and create joint tourism programmes.
