Jordan participating in ILO session

GENEVA — Jordan is currently participating in the 103rd session of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conference in Geneva.
Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, head of the delegation, is scheduled to deliver a speech on Monday in which he will focus on the repercussions of hosting more than 1.3 million Syrian refugees on Jordan’s labour market.
Ensour met with ILO Director General Guy Ryder and highlighted the effect of the Syrian crisis on the Kingdom, especially on economic sectors which increased unemployment among Jordanians.
