Jordan, Russia stress further cooperation at Expo 2020 Dubai

AMMAN — Investment Ministry Secretary General and Commissioner General of the Jordanian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai Zaher Qatarneh on Wednesday held a meeting with Ailexei Gruzdev, deputy minister of Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade and commissioner general of the Russian pavilion, and stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to develop economic and investment cooperation between the countries.

Qatarneh, during the meeting at the Jordanian pavilion, noted that the Kingdom, thanks to human capabilities, laws and international agreements, is considered an attractive destination for foreign capitals and investments, according to a ministry statement.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Qatarneh accompanied Gruzdev on a tour inside the Jordanian pavilion and acquainted him with its contents that reflect the top Jordanian achievements in several economic and social sectors. Gruzdev expressed admiration of the Jordanian pavilion that highlights the historical chronology of the Kingdom and its development and progress.
