Jordan, Slovakia discuss ties, region

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh met with his Slovakian counterpart Miroslav Lajcak in Bratislava on Friday to discuss relations between the two countries and the latest regional developments.
The ministers exchanged views on the developments in Syria and the importance of the Geneva peace talks, where Judeh reaffirmed Jordan's position that calls for a political solution that ensures the safety and unity of Syria with the inclusion of all components of the Syrian people, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Judeh also confirmed Jordan's continuing contribution to international anti-terrorism efforts.
