Jordan, Tunisia discuss civil defence cooperation

AMMAN — Civil Defence Department (CDD) Director Lt. Gen. Talal Kofahi on Monday discussed cooperation with Brig. Gen. Moez Dachraoui, the director of the Tunisian National Office for Civil Protection, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Dachraoui commended the CDD's "pioneering expertise" and the skilfulness of its personnel.
The Tunisian official was also briefed on the CDD's strategic plans to develop the humanitarian services it provides. Dachraoui and his accompanying delegation are scheduled to visit the Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah II Academy for Civil Protection and the CDD’s central rescue and support department to observe various drills.
