Jordan welcomes ‘fruitful talks’ to end Gulf rift

AMMAN — Jordan on Friday welcomed the statement issued by Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al Mohammad Al Sabah about “the fruitful talks” aiming at ending the Gulf rift and reaching a final agreement that realises solidarity and enhances stability in the Gulf region.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi praised the "great efforts" of the late Emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah of Kuwait, and Emir Shiekh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah to end the crisis, and achieve the Gulf solidarity that constitutes “an essential pillar” of the pan-Arab solidarity.
Safadi also praised the keenness of all "brothers" to realise Gulf and Arab solidarity, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also commended the US efforts aiming at ending the crisis.
