AMMAN — The Jordan Investment Commission and the Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) are scheduled to organise an exhibition of Jordanian products in Nairobi on May 1, with the participation of several industrial companies.
Muhammad Ziadat, adviser for African markets at the JCI, said that organising the five-day event is a continuation of the success of several industrial missions to Kenya over the past two years, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Ziadat said that the Kingdom’s exports to Kenya in 2018 totalled at some $5 million, compared with $2.5 million the year before.
A JCI study showed that Jordanian industries have competitive characteristics for more than 46 products to penetrate the Kenyan market.
