Jordanian, Palestinian pilgrims depart for Hajj

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Awqaf Minister Wael Arabiyat on Monday attended the farewell ceremony for Jordanian pilgrims, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Pilgrims from Jordan and Palestine departed from the Jizah Pilgrim Station, which has recently been inaugurated.
He said the ministry has checked on the procedures related to their accommodation in Medina and Mecca. Medical and administrative cadres left to Saudi Arabia on Saturday, the minister added.
