Jordan’s ambassador presents credentials to Portugal president

AMMAN — The Kingdom’s Ambassador to Switzerland Nayef Qadi on Wednesday presented his credentials to Portugal’s President Marcelo Rebelo de Souza as the Kingdom’s non-resident extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Portugal.
During the ceremony at the presidential palace in Portugal, Qadi conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings and wishes of progress and prosperity to the Portuguese President and the people of Portugal, according to a statement made available to the Jordan Times.
President Marcelo Rebelo de Souza conveyed his greetings and appreciation to King Abdullah, lauding the Kingdom’s wise leadership and praising ties binding the two countries, as well as wishing Jordan and its people continued progress and prosperity. Qadi, also met a number of Portuguese officials over advancing bilateral ties in various fields.
