Jordan’s dams at 40.3% capacity — Water Ministry

AMMAN — The Ministry of Water/Jordan Valley Authority (JVA) on Monday said that the Kingdom's dams now hold 40.3 per cent, or 112.5 million cubic metres (mcm), of their total storage capacity of 280.7mcm.
The ministry said that the King Talal Dam was filled with about 45mcm, or 67 per cent, the Kafrin Dam with 5.252mcm, or 62 per cent, Mujib Dam with 21.9mcm, or 88.7 per cent, and Wadi Shuaib Dam with 1.254mcm, or 100 per cent of its capacity, according to a ministry statement.
