Jordan’s oil bill increased by 56.6% in January 2023 — DoS

AMMAN —The Kingdom’s oil bill in January increased by 56.6 per cent to reach JD303 million compared with JD193 million in January 2022, the Department of Statistics (DoS) said on Monday.
According to a DoS report on foreign trade, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, mineral fuels and oils topped the list of Jordan’s oil imports in January, amounting to JD109 million, followed by crude petroleum with JD76 million.
The Kingdom's imports of gasoline reached JD61 million, while diesel reached JD54 million, and lubricants at JD3 million.
