Justice minister, French ambassador discuss legal cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Justice Ahmad Ziadat and French Ambassador Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison, and an accompanying delegation, on Monday discussed means to boost cooperation in the legal sector to promote justice and the rule of law. During the meeting, Ziadat reiterated the "strong partnership" between Amman and Paris, as both sides have multiple agreements on legal aid, extradition, and multilateral legal and judicial matters, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. For his part, Grandmaison expressed hopes to further develop legal cooperation with Jordan and maintain coordination in various fields.
