AMMAN — New measures will be taken to launch electronic subpoena services as of next month, the Justice Ministry said Tuesday.
The ministry will start using portable computers to summon persons to court starting in November, according to Justice Minister Bassam Talhouni.
He added that ministry staff will be provided with 105 devices to follow up on subpoenas and document the right addresses of all litigating parties, a step that would expedite litigation procedures and ensure that individuals receive court notifications.
