Khasawneh’s Government achieves 18% of 2023–2025 Economic Modernisation Vision commitments — RASED

AMMAN — The results of Al Hayat Centre (RASED) report on the performance of Bisher Khasawneh's government after three and a half years of its formation showed that the government committed to 884 commitments distributed across four main programmes.
These programmes are the Executive Indicative Programme (2021–2024), the Economic Priorities Programme (2021–2023), the Economic Modernisation Vision (2023-2025), and the Public Sector Modernisation Plan (2022 – 2025), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
According to the results, the number of priorities within the Economic Modernisation Vision during the years 2023–2025 reached 554 commitments, of which 18 per cent were completed, 9 per cent had not yet started, 68 per cent were in progress, and 5 per cent were cancelled.
Of the commitments in progress, 14 per cent were being implemented at a high level, 41 per cent at a medium level, and 45 per cent at a low level.
The Public Sector Modernisation Plan included 51 priorities in 2023 and 50 priorities in 2024, totalling 101 priorities for the two years. Of these, 33 per cent were completed, 6 per cent had not yet started, 58 per cent were in progress, and 3 per cent were cancelled.
Of the commitments in progress, 24 per cent were being implemented at a high level, 27 per cent at a medium level, and 49 per cent at a low level.
The Executive Indicative Programme (2021–2024) included 79 commitments, of which 56 per cent were completed, 9 per cent had not yet started, and 35 per cent were in progress. The commitments in progress were classified into three levels: 46 per cent at a high level, 39 per cent at a medium level, and 14 per cent at a low level.
The Economic Priorities Programme (2021–2023) included 160 commitments, of which 65 per cent were completed, 5 per cent had not yet started, and 30 per cent were in progress.
Of the commitments in progress, 46 per cent were being implemented at a high level, 44 per cent at a medium level, and 10 per cent at a low level.
The team that prepared the report tracked all activities of the members of Khasawneh's government over three and a half years, with a total of 5,836 field activities, accounting for 54 per cent of the total activities, and 4,892 office activities, making up 46 per cent.
Regarding the decisions issued by Khasawneh's government, there were 1,174 decisions over three and a half years since its formation.
The analysis of these decisions showed that the legislative reform sector was the highest at 29 per cent, followed by the financial and economic sector at 21 per cent, and the administrative sector at 20 per cent.
The development and services sector and the appointments sector each accounted for 9 per cent of the decisions, while the international agreements and treaties sector was the lowest at 2 per cent.
