King accepts credentials of new ambassadors to Jordan

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday accepted the credentials of a number of newly appointed ambassadors to Jordan, during a ceremony at Basman Palace.

 King Abdullah accepted the credentials of ambassadors Khalifa Bin Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, Wilfredo C. Santos of the Philippines, Erdem Ozan of Turkey, Kim Dong-gi of Korea, J.A.D.S. Priyangika Wijegunasekera of Sri Lanka, Mohamad Nasri Abdul Rahman of Malaysia, and the Holy See’s Ambassador Archbishop Giovanni Pietro Dal Toso, Apostolic Nuncio.

 His Majesty also accepted the credentials of non-resident ambassadors Mohammad Habibu Tijani of Ghana, Ingrid Amer of Estonia, and Anne Meskanen of Finland, according to a Royal Court statement. 

Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, and Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs and acting Foreign Minister Ibrahim Jazi attended the ceremony.
