King, Belgium monarch discuss cooperation to counter COVID-19

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, in a phone call on Monday with King Philippe of Belgium, discussed means of enhancing cooperation to counter the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The two leaders emphasised the importance of intensifying efforts to address the humanitarian and economic repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic and safeguard public health and wellbeing, according to a Royal Court statement.
Discussions also covered the deep-rooted ties of friendship and partnership between Jordan and Belgium, as well as keenness to bolster cooperation.
