King receives phone call from UK PM

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received a phone call from UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who expressed the United Kingdom’s support for Jordan’s security and stability, led by His Majesty.
The phone call also covered the strong ties between the two countries, and means to bolster cooperation across all sectors, according to a Royal Court statement.
King Abdullah expressed condolences to Prime Minister Johnson over the passing of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
For his part, the prime minister extended best wishes to His Majesty on Jordan’s centennial, stressing the deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom and the UK.
