AMMAN — Spokesperson for the National Anti-Pandemic Committee Nazir Obaidat on Tuesday said that the decrease in the number of recorded coronavirus cases in the Kingdom is indicative of a “stable epidemiological situation”.
Obaidat told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that this stability “does not mean the end of the pandemic”, which is still a global issue whose repercussions are being felt around the world.
He stressed the importance of continuing to take all preventive safety measures as some sectors resume work and citizens are given more freedom of movement, highlighting the importance of social distancing.
Obaidat also stressed the necessity of continuing epidemiological inspection in the Kingdom amid the gradual return of public life in order to accurately determine the epidemiological situation.
