Kingdom to see drop in temperatures on Sunday, followed by moderate weather

AMMAN — Temperatures are forecast to drop on Sunday, bringing unstable weather conditions and a chance of rainfall in the eastern and southeastern regions of the Kingdom, which may turn into thunderstorms, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
The JMD forecast northwesterly moderate to brisk winds on Sunday, warning of slippery roads in areas that are expected to witness rainfall and low visibility in Badia areas due to dust formation.
On Monday, moderate temperatures are forecast in the Kingdom, and hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, according to the JMD.
In Amman, temperatures on Sunday are forecast to reach a high of 28°C during the day and a low of 17°C during the night. Mercury levels are expected to range between 31°C and 19°C on Monday.
In Aqaba, temperatures on Sunday as well as Monday are forecast to reach a high of 37°C during the day and a low of 24°C at night.
