AMMAN — Kurdish Iraqis are interested in medical tourism in the Kingdom, citing the availability of qualified personnel and excellent hospitals, a Kurdish media delegation said on Wednesday at a meeting with Tourism Minister Nidal Katamine.

The delegates are currently visiting the Kingdom upon an invitation from the Jordan Tourism Board.

Katamine expressed the Tourism Ministry’s readiness to cooperate with the tourism commission in Kurdistan to train cadres in the sector, and to sign an agreement to facilitate the entry of visitors from the region to the Kingdom.
