Kuwait to fund treatment for Syrian refugees

AMMAN — The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) has agreed to cover the cost of treating Syrian patients, under a memorandum signed with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) on Wednesday.
HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the KHCF board of trustees, and KFAED Director General Abdulwahab Ahmad Al Bader signed the memorandum of understanding.
Princess Ghida expressed her appreciation for the Kuwaiti government's support, and thanked the fund on behalf of Syrian patients, according to a KHCF statement.
