Labour minister inaugurates first job fair in Rusaifah

AMMAN — Labour Minister Ali Ghezawi on Sunday inaugurated the first job fair in Rusaifah District, which was organised by the Directorate of Employment in Zarqa, in cooperation with several private companies at the Hurait Hall, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The job fair saw the participation of some 22 companies and private institutions, offering more than 480 jobs in various industrial, logistics, commercial, services and educational sectors, according to Petra.
Ghezawi said that the ministry aims to organise the labour market and create a suitable working environment, through legislation and organised procedures. He noted that such events contribute to networking and linking job seekers with employers in an organised and legal way.
