Labour Ministry to launch third employment drive

AMMAN — The Labour Ministry is preparing to launch a third employment campaign after the success the two previous campaigns resulted in securing 46,000 job opportunities, Labour Minister Nidal Katamine said Sunday.
The minister said the campaign will start after Eid Al Fitr (the Muslim feast marking the end of Ramadan) and will focus on the tourism sector.
Recruitment Director Najah Buriqi said the ministry has formed technical and coordination committees for the third National Recruitment Campaign, in cooperation with the Vocational Training Corporation.
