AMMAN — The Ministry of Labour on Sunday warned the public about fake job postings and advertisements using the ministry's name and logo circulating on social media platforms.
Mohammad Al Zyoud, the ministry's spokesperson, affirmed that the fake advertisements using the name of the Ministry of Labour for employment purposes are “completely false” and have no relation to the ministry.
He urged the public not to respond to these hoaxes, or share them with others, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Zyoud urged job seekers in the private sector to follow the ministry's website or social media accounts for official postings.
Citizens can also access the national employment platform "Sajjil" or the website of the National Employment Programme at www.tashgheel.gov.jo to check available job opportunities in the private sector.
