AMMAN — An official source on Monday said four Libyan women were denied entry into the Kingdom due to the absence of required documents, but the issue was resolved later in the day.
The source told The Jordan Times that the Libyans were allowed entry later in the day, but left the country after the approval was issued.
The Libyan Al Adala Wal-Bina Party issued a statement on Monday claiming that Jordanian authorities rejected the entry of four of its female members and they were sent to Turkey.
In a statement posted on their website, the political party added that the women were supposed to take part in a forum organised by the United Nations.
