Lower House's Palestine Committee, League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds discuss developments in Palestine, Gaza

AMMAN — The Lower House's Palestine Committee and the Istanbul-based League of Parliamentarians for Al Quds have discussed the latest developments in Palestine and Gaza and the genocide Palestinians are facing under the Israeli occupation. MP Firas Ajarmeh, during a visit to the league, reviewed the Kingdom's efforts to halt the escalation and Israeli aggression on Palestinians, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Ajarmeh emphasised that His Majesty King Abdullah has warned the international community of the ongoing Israeli war and its repercussions on the regional security and stability, stressing the Kingdom's rejection of displacing Palestinians. Hamid bin Abdullah Ahmar, president of the league, praised the unaltered positions of the Kingdom in supporting Palestinians, commending the Kingdom’s consistent stances at international levels reach a ceasefire since the outbreak of the war and deliver humanitarian and relief aid.
