LTRC director honours taxi driver for returning valuables to owners

AMMAN — Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) Director General Salah Lozi on Sunday honoured taxi driver Essam Aqrabawi from Zarqa Governorate after he returned gold jewellery and a sum of money to owners in the presence of the LTRC’s Office Director in Zarqa Governorate Lubna Abdel-Hadi.
Lozi stressed his pride in the yellow taxi drivers who represent the homeland’s values of honesty and their contribution to the transport sector in the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that the honesty is rooted in the fabric of Jordanian society, highlighting that such honourable gestures by yellow taxi drivers have a “good impact” on the stature and morals of workers in this sector.
