Maaytah meets with UN Women Executive Director, Global Council for Tolerance and Peace President

AMMAN — Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for the Empowerment of Women Musa Maaytah on Thursday discussed with Executive Director of UN Women Sima Bahouth ways to enhance cooperation over women empowerment.

Also on Thursday, Maaytah met President of Global Council for Tolerance and Peace Ahmed Al Jarwan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

Maaytah, during the meeting, commended the council’s efforts towards spreading the values of tolerance and peace worldwide. 

Expressing pride in Jordanian-Emirati relations, Jarwan expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom’s role in promoting the values of tolerance, respect for diversity and respect for other opinions, Petra added.
