Majali discusses ties with US, Dutch ambassadors

AMMAN — Interior Minister Hussein Majali on Monday met separately with US Ambassador to Jordan Alice G. Wells and Dutch Ambassador to Jordan Paul van den IJssel.
Majali and Wells examined ways to boost cooperation in security, political and economic fields and reviewed the latest regional developments.
Wells commended Jordan’s humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees.
During his meeting with the Dutch envoy, Majali highlighted the need for further cooperation, especially in security-related fields.
The ambassador stressed his country’s understanding of Jordan’s need for more assistance.
