Man sentenced to 10-year prison term for attempted Abdoun bombing

AMMAN — The State Security Court (SSC) on Monday sentenced a man to 10 years in prison for plotting a bombing in Amman’s Abdoun neighbourhood for hosting “ceremonies by Satanists”.
In another case, the SSC sentenced a man to a three-year prison term for leaving the Kingdom to join militant groups in Syria.
Also on Monday, the court sentenced a Saudi man to seven and-a-half years in prison for smuggling weapons into Jordan.
