Mashour Rifai appointed as president of Sumaya University for Technology

AMMAN — The Higher Education Council (HEC), chaired by Higher Education Minister Amin Mahmoud, on Thursday appointed Mashour Rifai as president of the Princess Sumaya University for Technology as of August 8, after accepting his resignation from the HEC as of August 7.
The HEC also accepted the resignations of the presidents of Al al Bayt University and Amman Arab University Faris Mashagbeh and Mahmoud Sheyab, respectively.
In addition, the council decided to remove the word “Royal” from the Royal University for Medical Sciences.
