AMMAN — The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) on Sunday started a two-day data journalism workshop for its students in cooperation with the UNESCO Office in Amman and with EU support, according to a JMI statement.
The 44 MA students will be introduced to techniques on how to deal with data and statistics related to youth issues and translate those figures into creative human interest stories, the statement said.
The workshop is part of the Networks of Mediterranean Youth — Net-Med Youth Project implemented by UNESCO and funded by the EU, the statement added.
