AMMAN — The Higher Education Council has decided to raise the minimum score for admission at public universities from 65 to 70 and at private universities from 60 to 65 for the 2015-2016 academic year.
At a meeting on Sunday, headed by Higher Education Minister Labib Khadra, the council excluded some universities and colleges from the decision, and said it will list them at a later meeting.
