Minister of agriculture and environment meets with Singaporean counterpart

AMMAN — Minister of Agriculture and Environment Ibrahim Shahahdeh has met with Singaporean Minister of Environment and Water Resources Masagos Zulkifli to discuss enhancing cooperation in the water, environment and agricultural sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Shahahdeh stressed the close relations between Jordan and Singapore in various political, economic and technological fields, underlining the importance of Jordan and Singapore in maintaining a common stance on environmental issues and climate change at international forums.
He said that the government is currently working in coordination with representatives of the agricultural sector in the Kingdom to hold an exhibition of agricultural and industrial products in Singapore with the aim of reaching new markets.
