Minister, Amman mayor discuss archaeological restoration efforts

AMMAN — Tourism Minister Nayef Al Fayez and Amman Mayor Aqel Biltaji stressed in a meeting on Monday the importance of joint efforts to restore archaeological sites in the capital. Discussions covered efforts to restore Al Bassa Cave in Iraq Al Amir.
Biltaji confirmed the municipality’s readiness to do what is necessary to restore the site and put it on the city’s tourism map, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
