Ministerial team visits Amman’s central vegetable market

AMMAN — A ministerial team on Tuesday visited the central market for fruit and vegetables, affiliated with the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM).
The team toured the market and met with farmers, retail traders and moderators over issues concerning them, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Abdul Majeed Odwan, executive director of markets at GAM, reviewed the municipality’s recent procedures to develop the market’s infrastructure and improve the work environment.
The ministers dedicated part of the tour to discussing the status of guest workers, highlighting the importance for them to have permits.
