Ministry receiving online applications for scholarships abroad

AMMAN — The Ministry of Higher Education on Wednesday started receiving online applications for scholarships abroad through its website, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The deadline to apply is 3pm on August 17, according to the scholarships department’s director, Wael Smadi.
The ministry is offering 230 scholarships for the 2016 academic year in the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmacology and engineering. Scholarships to study medicine are available in Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan, Armenia and Romania. Applications can be submitted at www.dsamohe.gov.jo.
