Mulki attends Jordan Academy of Arabic anniversary ceremony

AMMAN — Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Monday attended a ceremony held by the Jordan Academy of Arabic on the occasion of its 40th anniversary of establishment and winning of the King Faisal International Prize for Arabic Language and Literature.
Academy Chairman Khaled Karaki expressed appreciation for lawmakers’ work to preserve the academy and to protect the Arabic language. Former prime minister Abdur-Rau’f S. Rawabdeh highlighted the importance of the academy, calling for more support to help it continue spreading its national and Arab message, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
